SMOK has retained the functional specs of the Majesty Box Mod – with the MAG also offering a top power level of 225 Watts and incorporating three different operating modes.

However, unlike the Majesty box mod, the MAG adopts a distinctive “gaming controller” or “gun” like form factor. The main firing button closely mimics the placement of the trigger on a standard revolver. This design is a departure from SMOK’s traditional style and has a contemporary and youthful feel that seems directed towards a younger target market.

Another interesting design element of this model is the unusual battery compartment. Utilizing a flower-shaped button control that unlocks the base of the unit and allows it to “pop” open for easy installation – this feature creates a corresponding sound, which SMOK describes as a gun cocking noise. And while we are not 100% clear as to why this would be a specific selling point, it is unusual enough to warrant a mention nonetheless.

A tame new twist on gun control with SMOK’s pistol-inspired kit combo!

When bought as a kit, the MAG mod is paired with newly iterated, TFV12 Prince Tank. This particular atomizer is actually extension of SMOK’s original design and brings with it, three, new carefully modulated coils that offer additional vaping versatility. The Prince Q4, X6 and T10 coil heads support a 40-120W power level and are designed to deliver unparalleled vapor and flavor at mid-wattage power outputs.

When paired together, this exclusive atomizer and box mod combination promises to deliver exceptional vaping outputs that are suitable for a variety of vape users. And while the actual design may be a bit limiting to its overall popularity in the marketplace, its impressive performance potential should still convert a few new vapers to the brand.
