Still a leader in its own right…
Digiflavor’s original, Pharaoh RTA entered the market as a high-performance “dripper tank” or RDTA, designed by Rip Trippers. This custom creation featured a 25mm base with a 2 mL ejuice compartment, but the most unusual element of the design is arguably the large, shelf-type dual post build deck. Moreover, its dynamic AFC system includes five, rectangular slots at the base of the deck for adequate cooling and maximum vapor.
With the Pharaoh Mini RTA, Digiflavor has trimmed a millimeter off the diameter of the unit and maintained the compact and TPD compliant 2 mL ejuice chamber. However, users can now choose to swap out this smaller tank with a larger, 5 mL glass section that comes with the kit.
The drip tip has also undergone a revamp of sorts. Its taller and sharper 810-drip tip adapter is now replaced with a comfortably curved mouthpiece, that is even more complimentary.
The deck features rectangular slots at the base of the atomizer, which channel air from outside the chamber and under and around the installed build. This method delivers true flavor outputs and minimizes accidental leaks.
The clamp-style build deck returns and is now configured for single coil setups. But the good news for dual coil devotees is that Digiflavor has created a second, completely interchangeable build deck that is sold separately that caters to dual coils.
This simple and attractive RTA looks capable of producing excellent flavor and has enough versatility to be suited to many vaping styles. And providing it is of the quality we have come to expect from Digiflavor, there is no reason that this “mini” version cannot equal the success of the original.
