Vaporesso Nexus Preview | Simple AIO with Automatic TC

Vaporesso Nexus intro

No one likes burnt hits. But learning the ins and outs of temperature control is too much for some vapers. Vaporesso hopes to solve that with their new kit.

The Nexus is a small all-in-one MTL unit that holds 2 mL of juice and is powered by a 650 mAh battery. Like most Vaporesso products with pre-made coils, you’ll have the option between CCEL coils and regular coils. The major selling point here is that this little AIO comes standard with automatic temperature control powered by the acclaimed OMNI chip.

Price: ~ $25-$30
Coil Price: ~$11-12 per 5 coil heads
Colors: Silver, black, orange, blue, green, purple, ruby, dark blue

Simplicty with automatic TC

Vaporesso_Nexus

The Vaporesso Nexus is a pocketable little AIO reminiscent of the SMPO. It has a similar mouthpiece to the SMPO, and the Nexus claims to have TC… but the Nexus is refillable. The Nexus temperature limit is 250 F and it’s equipped with low liquid detection that will shut down the unit to avoid dry hits.

Refilling the Nexus is designed like the original iCare and the Aspire Breeze. But unlike the Breeze, the Nexus has adjustable airflow to dial in the perfect MTL hit. For coil swapping, the mouthpiece has a flat-head-like tool on the underside for unscrewing the chimney and coil section.

It’s promising that the Nexus uses the OMNI chip

The coils included in the kit are the NX CCELL and the NX Coil. Both are 1.0-ohm handling between 7-12 watts (though there’s no adjustable wattage). The CCELL Coil is ceramic and the NX Coil is a regular coil. For those vapers that don’t want to use ceramic coils, the option to use regular coils is a nice touch.

As always, the ultimate fate of the Nexus will be determined by the coils and how well the TC actually performs. It’s promising that the Nexus uses the OMNI chip, as that is known to be a good chip for TC. If the TC works and the coils delver how they should, this little device may be a godsend. Vaping360 will soon publish a review of the Nexus to let you know if it performs as promised. Watch this space.
